The goal of the EHS Prenatal Program is to provide information, support, service coordination and referral to help ensure the birth of a healthy child and wellness for the whole family. These services are provided by the Family Health Coordinator and the Family Services Coordinator, and are offered primarily through home or Center visits. It is expected that participants in the program will wish to enroll their child in the EHS center-based program.
The Prenatal Program offers an opportunity for pregnant women and their partners to learn more about pregnancy, labor and delivery, the challenges and joys of bringing a child into the world, and child development. We encourage participants to ask questions, express concerns, and be active participants.
